Audio Interview:
Canadian Andrew Ornoch is a 26 year old forward/midfielder who is currently playing for Telstar in the Dutch Eerste Divisie. He has played professionally in Denmark, Hungary and Holland in a successful career in Europe and is a strong proponent of the Dutch style of football. With that in mind, Ornoch has recently launched Dutch Connections FC, which offers a unique soccer camp striving to bring the world-renowned excellence of Dutch youth development to Canada. Students train with UEFA-licenced trainers, practicing a Dutch approach to soccer, with the most promising player from each session earning an expenses-paid chance to try out for a team in Holland.
At the International level, Ornoch has been capped 3 times by the Men’s Canadian National Team and has represented Canada in one FIFA World Cup qualification match.
