Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, 24 year old Desiree Scott is a key member of the Canadian Women’s National Team that has excelled recently under Head Coach John Herdman and qualified for the 2012 London Summer Olympics. Nicknamed ‘The Destroyer’ for her effective and tenacious play as a central holding midfielder with Canada, Scott has been capped 23 times by Canadian National Team and is considered one of the rising stars in Canadian soccer.
