This TFC goalkeeper (fantasy leagues mostly) offers his Perfect 10 Toronto FC players in a 4-4-2 attacking formation.
Forward - Danny Dichio
What can you say? He scored our first goal and gave defenders fits. Just think of what he might have done with the confidence of a full head of hair.
Forward - Danny Koevermans
He scored buckets of goals when healthy. He also said TFC was the worst team in the world. He's a complicated man but the great ones usually are.
LM - Amado Guevara
He had at all. Technical ability, an incredible shot, vision. He would sometimes appear disinterested but then out of nowhere, change the game. You may not want two guys like that on the team but one or one and a half is perfect.
CM - Michael Bradley
He may become the best Toronto FC player ever to put on the shirt. When at his best he's a pit bull in the middle of the pitch. At his worst, he's a slightly smaller pit bull but just as relentless!
CM - Torsten Frings
The first game that Frings played made everyone around him look like children. His play was that good. He would command the entire field with his cold, steely and unflinching gaze... he's not watching me now is he? Is he?!
RM - Dwayne De Rosario
A great player who could put a team on his back. Miracle in Montreal, anyone? Forget the cheque signing and the salary fights and Designated Player stuff. He also helped get real grass by complaining about the turf... come to think of it, he complained a lot didn't he?
LB - Justin Morrow
Sometimes I don't even know that Morrow is playing. He just goes out there and does his job professionally and efficiently. It's the best compliment you can give a defender to say you didn't notice them on the field. Who was I talking about, again?
CB - Steven Caldwell
Caldwell is that steady father figure you need in a CB. He directs the back four and helps it keep it's shape. He's like a priest, all smiles but get out of line and you're going to hell for eternity.
CB - Doneil Henry
Henry was TFC's first signing out of the academy and a true local boy. Since then he's grown into an imposing beast of a CB with all the tools needed to become a dominant central defender. I don't even mind the occasional red card now that he'll be playing in Cyprus.
RB - Richard Eckersley
TFC's Tie Domi. Eckersley is a tough as nails, hard nose, sturdy, tenacious, rugged, stern, solid and durable RB. And that's just in the first half!
